Session Types

Here is a list of items typically reviewed and discussed in an IRB application review session:

A dissertation structure review session can consist of reviewing:

  • Alignment with academic standards and academic publication requirements.
  • A systematic review of your study’s purpose, scope, and layout guides readers through your work. <br>
  • Evaluation of your literature review’s structure.
  • Methodology and framework evaluation of clarity, appropriateness, and depth and breadth in communication of the chosen methods.
  • Positionality of the researcher as well as the research.
  • Impact of your research.

  • Review of manuscript or Abstract before submission to journal or publisher to provide a peer review.
  • Assistance in responding to peer reviewers’ comments.

  • Identify potential weaknesses and improve your manuscript.
